New flower shapes

First, a little something for the fans: I’ve designed two new 3D flower shapes! A bell-shaped flower (a little like a Snake’s head fritillary) with dangling stamens, and a stem with 3 pods, with little beans popping out.

Eight deep burgundy paper flowers

How chic is this set of dark burgundy, or aubergine-coloured, paper flowers? The high-quality, extra-matte paper is coloured all the way through, so there are no white edges.

The FIELD Merlot set was specially designed for people who fancy a small DIY project, but one with a stunning result, and who simply love this classic, deep wine-red colour.

The paper flowers on 40 cm stems are perfect in a little vase or narrow-necked bottle, as a wreath, or as a single flower attached with masking tape to your off-white or beige wall. And of course, they make a lovely gift or a warm winter greeting, sent as a flat package by post.

DIY for your personal touch

For a lasting little bouquet or a subtle deep-red flower wreath, all you need is what’s inside this set. You’ll find detailed instructions on the inside of the packaging. Need a little more help? Click HERE for the video tutorial.

There’s no cutting and no glueing involved: all EIGHT flowers in the set are pre-cut and pre-scored. And the flower stems, 8 lengths of 40 cm, are included too.

Letterbox gift

FIELD is doubly sustainable as a bouquet: the flowers never wilt and are cut from FSC-certified paper.

This little bouquet of paper flowers also makes the perfect letterbox gift, a very special ‘greeting card’ that can be transformed into a lovely bouquet when it arrives. The flat A5 format is easy to send in an envelope.

We can send the flower set directly as a gift! See our gift-wrapping service for more information.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

    1. How long will the paper flowers stay beautiful?
FIELD Merlot never wilts and can stay beautiful for years. The flowers are made from high-quality, FSC-certified paper that is coloured all the way through.

    2. Do I need scissors, glue or any other materials?
No. All 8 paper flowers are pre-cut and pre-scored, as always with Jurianne Matter. The 8 flower stems, each 40 cm long, are included too. So you have everything you need to get started straight away.

    3. Can I send FIELD Merlot as a letterbox gift?
Yes. The set comes flat-packed in A5 format and fits through the letterbox. You can send FIELD Merlot yourself or have it sent directly as a gift from the Jurianne Matter webshop.

    4. What can I make with the paper flowers?
You can arrange the 8 flowers together as a bouquet in a vase, make them into a flower wreath, or use the flowers individually. Also lovely: place a single flower in a small bottle or attach it to the wall with masking tape.

    5. Is FIELD Merlot a sustainable alternative to fresh flowers?
Absolutely! Sustainability is high on Jurianne Matter’s list when designing. The flowers never wilt and are made from FSC-certified paper. This makes FIELD Merlot a lasting alternative to a bouquet of fresh flowers.
