FLOAT - 3 lightboats | three floating paper candle boats for a light ritual

Valuable ritual

Turn a garden party into a fairy tale, with a few sets of light boats floating in the pond.

FLOAT, a set of 3 boats, is not only a mood setter, but also a meaningful gift to reflect on the big and small milestones in life. Such as reminiscing about a loved one, celebrating a (new) life or a special event such as a wedding. The little boats take your wishes and thoughts away in the flow.

Folding and sailing

You can write a wish or message along the railing. Then you fold the boat and the cabin in a few minutes and the ship is ready to launch. It is an enchanting spectacle, the white boats with a light in them, finding their way on the water. It always makes me a little quiet.

Indoor monument

I often use these boats at home, on a flat dish with water. I sometimes pick some leaves or flowers from the garden that I also place in the water. It is then a kind of moving monument (in more than one way), for someone who could use some light and love. A mini ritual that makes me feel like I'm with that person.

Letterbox gift

Because they are initially flat, these wish boats are an ideal letterbox gift (A4 envelope). If you want us to wrap the set as a gift, please take a look at our packaging service.

Do you want to send a special condolence card to someone? Then Flyde is a great choice. Flyde is a single-packaged floating light boat. A beautiful way to say: I am thinking of you,

Instruction video

The packaging contains clear folding instructions. Still need some help? HERE you can find an instruction video for both FLOAT and Flyde.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):

Answer  No. Jurianne Matter’s paper light boats arrive flat-packed without candles, so you can add your own tealights before setting them afloat.

Question 2  Where can I float the boats?

Answer  In a bowl of water, a pond or other calm water. Stay with any lit candle and retrieve the boats afterwards where possible.

Question 3  Are the paper FLOAT boats biodegradable?

Answer  Yes, the paper is acid-free and chlorine-free and it eventually breaks down in water. Retrieve the boats though when you can.
